One subject at a time
Each of the 15 subjects in the curriculum has its own practice round. Start with the one you feel least sure about, and see the answers as soon as you submit.
Study the material from the Norwegian security guard training with multiple-choice questions from all 15 subjects. Take a practice exam of 80 questions in four hours, or practise one subject at a time. The wording and order change every time, so you learn the material rather than the answers.
Use them in whatever order suits you, as often as you like.
Each of the 15 subjects in the curriculum has its own practice round. Start with the one you feel least sure about, and see the answers as soon as you submit.
80 questions from every subject and four hours on the clock, which cannot be paused. You can move back and forth freely, but you only see the answers once you submit.
Questions you answer wrongly are collected under My mistakes on your account. A question is only removed once you have answered it correctly twice in a row.
It is easy to remember that the answer “was the second one from the bottom”, but then you have not learned anything. That is why the practice is designed so that you have to know the material itself.
The security guard exam in Norway is taken in Norwegian, and training providers require good Norwegian skills. The menus and pages on this site are available in English, but the practice questions themselves are in Norwegian, just like the real exam.
All security guards must also pass recertification every four years (Security Services Act, section 9). Here you can refresh your knowledge at your own pace before you take it.
This is an unofficial practice site. The questions are written by us for practising the material and are not taken from the exam. The exam may have different questions, a different level of difficulty and a different spread across subjects, so a good result here is no guarantee that you will pass.
We have no connection to the Norwegian police or the National Police Directorate, and nothing here is legal advice. Your curriculum and your course always take precedence.
